Key Responsibilities

Advanced Cardiac Sonography

  • Perform non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic examinations using ultrasound, imaging duplex, and related equipment.

  • Position patients and operate equipment to obtain reliable, clinically informative diagnostic data.

  • Conduct complete echocardiographic evaluations and preliminary measurements.

  • Evaluate recordings as they occur and complete the required technical analysis.

Amyloid Clinic and Research

  • Work independently within the amyloid clinic.

  • Perform technically advanced imaging examinations involving amyloid patients.

  • Support the consistent collection and documentation of research-related cardiovascular imaging data.

Technical and Team Leadership

  • Provide guidance to sonographers, technicians, students, and cardiology fellows.

  • Delegate daily workflow to other team members when the chief sonographer is unavailable.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet all of the following requirements:

  • Completion of a two-year program in cardiac sonography, cardiovascular technology, or a closely related field.

  • Knowledge of cardiology, medical terminology, anatomy, biology, and the basic physics associated with diagnostic ultrasound.

  • At least one year of professional echocardiography experience within a hospital environment, excluding internships or clinical placements.

  • At least five years of experience working within a cardiac stress laboratory.

  • Substantial experience working with amyloid patients.

  • Ability to work independently within an amyloid clinic.

  • Experience performing stress echocardiograms and dobutamine stress echocardiograms.

  • Ability to work onsite in Boston, Massachusetts.

  • Valid authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

  • Certification or eligibility for registration in echocardiography through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).

Position Overview

A leading manufacturing organization is seeking three experienced Maintenance Mechanics to support a high-speed production and packaging facility in Chicago.

This hands-on position is responsible for maintaining the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of processing, packaging, and facility equipment. Working with limited supervision in a team-based environment, the Maintenance Mechanic will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot breakdowns, complete mechanical repairs, and help minimize production downtime.

Preventive Maintenance and CMMS
