Overview

A funded early-stage healthcare AI startup is seeking a hands-on CTO Co-Founder to lead technology strategy, product development, architecture, and engineering execution.

The company is building an AI-powered platform focused on transforming healthcare payments, claims processing, revenue cycle management, and financial workflow automation. This is a true 0-to-1 opportunity for a technical leader who wants to build both the product and the company from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Technology & Product Leadership

  • Own the technology vision, architecture, and engineering roadmap.

  • Build and launch the company’s initial MVP and commercial platform.

  • Evaluate and select the technology stack and infrastructure.

  • Design secure, scalable systems for healthcare payment and claims workflows.

AI & Workflow Automation

  • Build AI-driven workflow automation and operational intelligence capabilities.

  • Develop data ingestion, normalization, and decision-support solutions.

  • Implement automation for claims, reimbursement, reconciliation, and payment processes.

Engineering Leadership

  • Recruit, hire, and lead the founding engineering team.

  • Establish development standards, processes, and engineering culture.

  • Drive execution from concept through production deployment.

Strategic Collaboration

  • Work directly with the CEO, investors, advisors, and early customers.

  • Translate customer needs into scalable technical solutions.

  • Support fundraising, product strategy, and commercial growth initiatives.
