Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Complex Sales Manager to lead sales and marketing operations across a multi-site manufacturing environment.
This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and profitability through strategic leadership, market-driven initiatives, and effective team management. You will oversee a regional sales function, align cross-functional teams, and build strong customer relationships within a competitive industrial market.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Strategy
Lead the sales and marketing function across multiple sites within the region
Develop and execute market-driven strategies to drive profitable growth
Align resources to capitalize on regional and geographic opportunities
Drive structured sales initiatives (e.g., 80/20 focus principles) to improve performance
Revenue & Business Growth
Own a significant portion of business unit revenue performance
Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic accounts
Strengthen and expand relationships with existing customers
Develop business-building partnerships and alliances
Customer & Market Focus
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through value-driven solutions
Deliver tailored strategies aligned with target customer needs
Monitor market trends and adjust sales approach accordingly
Team Leadership & Development
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing sales team
Provide coaching, direction, and performance management
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with operations, service, and marketing teams to deliver integrated solutions

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
7+ years of sales experience
2+ years of sales leadership or management experience
Strong experience in industrial or manufacturing sales environments
Proven ability to drive revenue growth and customer engagement
Preferred Experience
Experience in corrugated packaging or related industries (highly preferred)
Strong understanding of the Minneapolis regional market
Experience managing multi-site or regional sales operations
