Cloudwise Solutions was founded in 2017 with a clear ambition: to build a different kind of consultancy—one where people, relationships and shared success come first.
Our roots are firmly grounded in family. What began with a shared vision has evolved into a trusted global business, strengthened by the experience, values and personal commitment of those closest to us. Although Cloudwise has grown, our approach remains the same: we treat every client, candidate, consultant and partner as an important part of our extended network.
Founded by Darren Kane, Cloudwise was created to reshape solutions consulting and talent services for the better. Through our three core services—Hire, Learn and Collaborate—we support organisations seeking exceptional technology expertise, combining our in-house knowledge with the strength of our trusted partner network.
Today, we support clients across EMEA, North America and APAC, helping them hire outstanding people, develop their teams and access the specialist expertise required to deliver meaningful change.

Darren Kane
FOUNDER
Darren Kane is an accomplished recruitment leader and the Founder and President of Cloudwise Solutions. With more than a decade of experience, he has built an extensive track record of connecting exceptional professionals with organisations across Technology, Sales, Marketing, Healthcare, Engineering, Manufacturing and other specialist sectors.
Throughout his career, Darren has managed high-performing recruitment teams, supported major growth businesses and delivered talent solutions across the UK, Europe, North America and wider global markets. His experience includes working with leading organisations such as Freddie Mac, Ally Financial, Caterpillar, Eaton, Philips Healthcare, Yahoo, Atlassian, Blackboard, Convergys, ServiceNow, Fujitsu, eBay and Gumtree.
Darren’s technology recruitment background spans infrastructure, technical support, software development, DevOps, cloud technologies and enterprise platforms. As Cloudwise has evolved, his expertise has expanded into engineering, manufacturing, healthcare, commercial and executive recruitment—while retaining the relationship-led, highly personal approach on which the family business was founded.
Darren believes successful recruitment is built on trust, transparency, loyalty and a genuine understanding of both people and businesses. His focus is not simply on filling vacancies, but on creating lasting partnerships and making introductions that deliver long-term value.
Outside of work, Darren is a keen gamer, an avid football supporter of Charlton Athletic and, most importantly, a proud father of four.

Declan Henry - Declan joined Cloudwise Solutions four years ago, beginning his career with the family business as an apprentice. Since then, he has developed into a valued Candidate Attraction Specialist, responsible for identifying and engaging talented professionals across a wide range of markets.
Declan is often the first point of contact for candidates. He takes the time to understand their experience, ambitions and circumstances, introduces them to relevant opportunities and ensures they receive a positive and transparent experience before connecting them with the appropriate Account Manager, who supports them through the remainder of the recruitment process.
During his time with Cloudwise, Declan has supported recruitment across multiple sectors, including Technology, Manufacturing, Engineering, Healthcare and Sales.
Outside of work, Declan enjoys travelling to Ireland and is a passionate Manchester United supporter. He is also Darren’s younger brother, reinforcing the family values and close relationships at the heart of Cloudwise.
Jamie Plows - Jamie has been part of Cloudwise Solutions since the company began in 2017. He started his career in IT development and continues to bring that strong technical foundation to his work today, giving him an excellent understanding of both specialist roles and the professionals behind them.
As Head of Resourcing, Jamie leads the team responsible for connecting talented candidates with Cloudwise and career opportunities across the globe. He plays an integral role across multiple client accounts, helping to shape sourcing strategies, identify exceptional talent and ensure candidates receive a personal, engaging and transparent experience.
Jamie has recruited across Technology, IT and Cybersecurity, Sales, Marketing, Healthcare, Engineering, Manufacturing, Aerospace and Defence, Construction, Energy and Utilities, Financial Services, Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology, and Food and Beverage. He has supported major organisations including Cargill, Generac, LifePoint Health and Boston Medical Center, among many others.
A key member of the Cloudwise family, Jamie combines technical knowledge, extensive cross-sector recruitment experience and a genuine ability to build lasting relationships with candidates and clients alike.
Outside of work, Jamie is a keen gamer, a loving father of two and an enthusiastic DIYer. He is also currently on a mission to become something of a “gym dude”—with progress very much underway! Jamie is also Darren’s Brother-In-Law!
Sherry Kijewski has been part of Cloudwise Solutions for close to eight years. After spending 20 years working across health and childcare, she wanted a new challenge that would better complement her lifestyle. She approached her younger brother, Darren, to explore what that next chapter might look like—and the result helped shape Cloudwise’s expansion into healthcare recruitment.
Eight years later, Sherry leads Candidate Attraction within Cloudwise’s healthcare practice. Her extensive sector knowledge, natural empathy and ability to connect with people allow her to engage healthcare professionals with a genuine understanding of their experience, motivations and career aspirations.
Alongside her healthcare specialism, Sherry supports the wider Cloudwise team across all its sectors, helping to identify and engage exceptional candidates while ensuring they receive the personal and relationship-led experience that defines the family business.
Outside of work, Sherry loves travelling and cooking. Most importantly, she is a devoted and wonderful mother to her son.
Lucy Kane - Lucy has been part of Cloudwise Solutions since its inception and is truly the heartbeat of the business, helping to keep the team organised, supported and moving forward.
As the lead for Finance and Accounting, Lucy oversees the essential financial operations behind Cloudwise while also supporting the wider team with candidate attraction across all the sectors and specialist markets in which the business operates. Her versatility, creativity and unwavering commitment make her an invaluable part of both the company and the family behind it.
Outside of Cloudwise, Lucy is a devoted mother to four wonderful children, an exceptionally talented photographer and someone who loves bringing new ideas to life. She is also Darren’s wife and greatest partner—having supported him and, perhaps even more impressively, put up with him for more than 20 years!
