Remain current with developments in radiation therapy techniques and technology.
Follow all applicable infection-control, patient-safety and confidentiality procedures.
Perform additional related duties as required.
Required Qualifications
Associate’s degree or equivalent education in Radiation Medicine or Radiation Therapy from an accredited institution.
Knowledge of radiation therapy procedures, equipment operation and appropriate equipment setup.
At least three to six months of relevant practical or on-the-job training.
Ability to work onsite in Boston for the assigned 20-hour weekly schedule.
Knowledge and Skills
Ability to determine the correct equipment and patient setup for radiation treatment.
Ability to calculate treatment duration and support radiation-dose calculations.
Ability to recognise and respond appropriately to adverse treatment reactions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to clinical accuracy.
Effective interpersonal and patient-communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, physicists, technologists and other healthcare professionals.
Commitment to patient confidentiality, infection control and workplace safety.
