Overview

A leading academic medical center is seeking a Pharmacy Manager, Hematology/Oncology to lead and oversee oncology pharmacy operations, clinical programs, staff development, and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Manage daily Hematology/Oncology pharmacy operations.

  • Manage high-cost specialty drug utilization, particularly within oncology services.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop pharmacists, pharmacy liaisons, and support staff.

Required Qualifications

Education

✔ Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD required.

Licensure

Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Labor & Delivery RNs to join a Level 4 maternal care unit at a large, respected hospital in the Texas Medical Center. With 12 labor beds, 19 antepartum beds, and 4 swing beds, this unit handles 400–450 deliveries monthly, offering dynamic work in a high-acuity environment.

The role includes direct patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, patient education, and involvement in clinical improvement efforts. This unit seeks compassionate professionals who thrive in fast-paced, emotionally rich settings and who are fully committed to night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, high-quality, individualized nursing care using the nursing process

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on care plans, discharge planning, and patient outcomes

  • Act as preceptor, mentor, and resource for less experienced staff

  • Adhere to state, federal, and internal clinical and safety regulations

  • Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives

  • Ensure accuracy in documentation and patient communication

  • Promote a patient- and family-centered care culture

  • Maintain compliance with licensure, education, and certifications

Minimum Requirements

Licensure:

  • Active RN license in Texas or a compact multi-state RN license, clear of stipulations or disciplinary actions

Education & Experience:

  • BSN (no ADN or new grads considered)

  • 2–3 years of acute care Labor & Delivery experience

  • At least 3 total years of RN experience in acute care settings

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to work night shifts only (no exceptions)

  • Resume must include accurate employment dates and unit details

  • BLS certification required

  • Must meet vaccination requirements (COVID-19 and Flu, unless exempt)

Nice to Have

  • Experience in extended women’s health services

  • Strong communication and patient engagement skills

  • Transparency about unit, shift, and location preferences during interviews
