Key Responsibilities

Electrical Maintenance

A leading manufacturing organization is seeking experienced Wastewater Operators to support wastewater treatment operations and environmental compliance at a large-scale production facility.

This role is ideal for candidates with strong wastewater treatment experience, current wastewater licensing, and hands-on mechanical troubleshooting capabilities. Operators will support environmental compliance, process control, system maintenance, and operational reliability across wastewater treatment systems.

The ideal candidate has experience working in wastewater facilities classified as Class II or higher, possesses a Level III or Level A wastewater license, and has experience serving in a Direct Responsible Charge (DRC) role.

πŸ”§ Key Responsibilities

Wastewater Operations

  • Operate and monitor wastewater treatment systems

  • Maintain treatment process efficiency and environmental compliance

  • Perform system troubleshooting and equipment repairs

  • Rebuild pumps and wastewater equipment as needed

  • Maintain preventative maintenance schedules

Environmental Compliance

  • Assist in managing environmental compliance programs

  • Monitor and report sampling results required by:

    • Federal regulations

    • State regulations

    • Local environmental agencies

  • Maintain accurate compliance documentation and records

Safety & Maintenance

  • Adhere to all plant safety requirements including:

    • PPE protocols

    • Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures

    • Process Safety Management standards

  • Identify and report unsafe conditions immediately

Laboratory & Process Control

  • Perform process control laboratory testing

  • Support operational analysis and treatment optimization

  • Document operational data and reporting metrics

  • Current Wastewater License required

    • Level III Wastewater License preferred

    • Level A or Master License highly preferred

  • Valid Driver’s License required

  • Associate’s Degree in:

    • Science

    • Engineering

    • Related technical field

  • Minimum 4 years of operating experience in:

    • Wastewater facilities classified as Class II or higher

  • Minimum 2 years serving in:

    • Direct Responsible Charge (DRC) capacity
