πŸ”Ή Mix adhesives according to established formulas
πŸ”Ή Verify first-piece quality against product specifications
πŸ”Ή Set up and operate laminating and lathe machinery as required
πŸ”Ή Accurately interpret job orders and production requirements
πŸ”Ή Maintain machine cleanliness and work areas to required standards
πŸ”Ή Handle and manage hazardous waste safely using proper procedures
πŸ”Ή Monitor production quality and escalate issues when needed
πŸ”Ή Verify adhesive calculations and ensure correct materials are used
πŸ”Ή Change raw material rolls and manage substrates during operation
πŸ”Ή Support machine operation during break coverage when required
πŸ”Ή Report safety concerns, incidents, and food safety violations immediately

πŸ”Ή At least 1 year of machine operator experience (laminating experience beneficial)

Pay: $28.95 - $36.99 per hour based on experience (+$1.00 per hour for 3rd shift differential)

 

Shift:

- Swing shift: Alternates weekly between 7:00 am - 3:00 pm and 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm

- 3rd shift: 11:00 pm - 7:00 am

 

Bonuses:

- Up to $5,000 Relocation Bonus

Job Description:

 

In this role, the Plastic Injection Molding Process Technician is responsible for ensuring safety and producing high-quality products. The ideal candidate will be experienced in mold installation procedures and possess a solid understanding of key processing parameters to optimize product quality.

 

Responsibilities:

 

- Focus on maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to all safety protocols

- Lead and support the implementation of Safe Work Procedures and safety audits for new and existing equipment

- Participate in mold inspection, installation, and setup processes

- Troubleshoot tooling, processes, and machines, utilizing technical aptitude for systematic analysis and process improvements

- Collaborate with Engineering to develop new processes and enhance Plant Productivity initiatives

- Work with Shift Process Technicians to optimize the efficiency of existing processes

- Interpret data related to molding processes to ensure quality standards are met

- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of processes and data

- Flexibility for overtime as needed

 

Qualifications:

 

- Minimum of five years of hands-on practical experience in injection molding

- Two-year technical degree preferred

- Must pass Work Keys Mathematics and Technical Aptitude testing

- Proficiency with IQMS system and basic PC literacy
