๐Ÿงญ Key Responsibilities

Systems Engineering & Infrastructure

  • Design, configure, and implement server-based hardware and software solutions with minimal network disruption.

  • Perform system tuning, resource optimization, and hardware upgrades to ensure peak performance.

  • Manage and maintain Windows and Linux operating environments, including Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, ADFS, and Azure.

  • Provide technical leadership and escalation support for complex system issues.

Project Leadership

  • Lead infrastructure projects from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and department leaders to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable technology solutions.

  • Serve as a technical advisor for new technologies, assessing and recommending tools and architectures.

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain data center operations, ensuring reliability, availability, and compliance.

  • Support virtualization environments (VMware, Citrix, or similar platforms).

  • Monitor and manage storage, backup, and recovery systems, as well as cloud infrastructure.

  • Develop and document detailed system procedures, configurations, and architecture diagrams.

Collaboration & Support

  • Partner with end-users, internal IT teams, and leadership to address issues and deliver seamless system operations.

  • Lead or coordinate cross-functional teams during upgrades, migrations, or incidents.

  • Provide mentorship and knowledge sharing across the IT department.

Required

โœ… Bachelorโ€™s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or 10 years of equivalent experience).
โœ… 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, with at least 3 years supporting large-scale enterprise networks.
โœ… Advanced expertise in server and virtualization systems, data center operations, and infrastructure architecture.
โœ… Strong knowledge of storage, backup, and cloud environments.
โœ… Functional understanding of network design, security, and protocols.
โœ… Experience with Windows and Linux environments, including configuration and administration tools.

Preferred

โญ Certifications such as VMware, Microsoft, RedHat, or ITIL.
โญ Prior experience supporting healthcare or mission-critical environments.

Project Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead and oversee large-scale power generation projects, including combined and simple cycle plants.

  • Manage all phases of the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) lifecycle โ€” from design through commissioning and closeout.

  • Drive project delivery to meet schedule, budget, and quality targets, identifying and mitigating risks proactively.

Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Oversee and coordinate cross-functional teams of 35โ€“50 internal staff and 30โ€“40 external vendors.

  • Foster collaboration across engineering, project controls, commercial, and construction disciplines.

  • Serve as the primary liaison for executive stakeholders, providing clear communication, leadership, and motivation throughout project execution.

Strategic & Technical Execution

  • Ensure project alignment with organizational goals, performance metrics, and regulatory standards.

  • Monitor and manage project scope, critical paths, and risk assessments.

  • Drive continuous improvement, leveraging data, analytics, and lessons learned for future efficiency.

Required

โœ… Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related).
โœ… Minimum 8 years of experience in engineering, project management, project controls, or operations within the Oil & Gas or Power Generation sector.
โœ… Demonstrated experience leading Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) projects โ€” this is mandatory.
โœ… Proven ability to deliver large, complex, multidisciplinary projects (>1 GW) successfully.
โœ… Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
โœ… Ability to operate effectively in dynamic and ambiguous environments, adapting to changes in design, scope, or execution.

Preferred

โญ PMP Certification and/or Professional Engineer (PE) license.
โญ Familiarity with project management tools such as Oracle Primavera, Microsoft Project, and Power BI.
