Overview

A leading financial-services organization is seeking a Senior Technical Lead, Architecture – Enterprise Risk Delivery to provide architectural leadership across a portfolio of enterprise-risk technology initiatives.

This Director-level individual-contributor role will design and govern enterprise-scale technology solutions supporting Financial Risk, Non-Financial Risk, Financial Crimes and Compliance. The successful candidate will partner with engineering, data, product, security and business stakeholders to drive enterprise modernization, cloud transformation and Generative AI adoption.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Solution Architecture

• Design secure, scalable enterprise solution architectures.

• Define architectural blueprints and implementation roadmaps.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.

• At least 10 years of hands-on software-engineering experience.

• At least eight years in architecture or senior technical leadership.

• Extensive experience leading large-scale enterprise architecture initiatives.

• Enterprise solution architecture, cloud architecture, microservices, API architecture and integration expertise.

• Experience designing cloud-native architectures using AWS, Azure or GCP.

• Strong experience with Kubernetes, Kafka, Java, Python and modern distributed systems.

• Experience with Angular, micro frontends and twelve-factor application design.

• Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, Agile delivery and enterprise platform engineering.

• Experience implementing or architecting Generative AI or AI-enabled solutions.

• Experience within a highly regulated industry such as financial services, banking, mortgage or healthcare.

• Strong architecture-governance, executive-communication and cross-functional leadership skills.

• Ability to work primarily onsite in McLean, Virginia or Plano/Dallas, Texas.

  • Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans (BxP) and owner requirements.

🎓 Education & Experience

Required

✅ Proven track record managing VDC workflows for large-scale commercial projects (hospitals, hotels, data centers, multifamily developments, etc.).
