About the Role
This is a 6-month contract opportunity for an experienced HPC Platform Engineer with strong expertise in Azure fundamentals, Linux administration, and high-performance computing (HPC) platforms. You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment, supporting critical HPC infrastructure, administering tools like Posit Workbench, and ensuring high availability and performance across systems.

Key Responsibilities
Provide technical expertise in HPC platform architecture, design, and support.
Administer and manage Posit Workbench, Connect, and Package Manager.
Oversee and maintain Linux infrastructure within the HPC ecosystem.
Manage and configure Slurm workload manager and Kubernetes clusters.
Collaborate with developers, system administrators, and stakeholders to optimize platform performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to HPC environments.
Ensure robust system monitoring, automation, and best practices are followed for operational efficiency.

Ideal Candidate Profile
7+ years of relevant IT and HPC experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Proven ability to operate in high-demand environments with cross-functional collaboration.
