The Opportunity

Reporting into executive marketing leadership, you will oversee the systems, workflows, governance structures, and operational capabilities that enable efficient, compliant, and measurable marketing execution across the organisation.

You will:

  • Lead and optimise enterprise marketing operations, workflows, intake processes, and resource management

  • Drive operational efficiency across campaign planning, execution, and delivery

  • Oversee and govern the marketing technology ecosystem, including automation, campaign management, and internal creative tools

  • Manage budgeting processes including forecasting, accruals, tracking, and financial reconciliation

  • Develop and maintain operational controls, documentation, and compliance standards

  • Partner closely with Finance, Compliance, Risk, and Lines of Business to ensure scalable and compliant marketing execution

  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, onboarding, and performance optimisation

  • Identify opportunities to improve speed-to-market, transparency, and campaign effectiveness

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across marketing operations and reporting

  • Mentor and develop marketing operations talent while fostering a culture of accountability and operational discipline

Candidate Profile

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS)

  • 7+ years of marketing operations, marketing project management, or related experience

  • Strong experience managing workflows, prioritisation, and operational processes within marketing environments

  • Expertise working with marketing technology platforms and campaign operations systems

  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, and vendor management experience

  • Excellent project management and process improvement capabilities

  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, highly regulated environments

🧭 Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement a global public relations strategy to support business objectives and strengthen brand visibility.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders, including business heads and senior leadership, to define PR priorities, messaging, and KPIs.

  • Proactively identify and capitalize on emerging media trends and opportunities to position the company as an industry thought leader.

Media Relations & Content Development

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Tier 1 business, financial, and trade media across the U.S. and internationally.

  • Pitch, coordinate, and secure interviews, bylined articles, editorials, media briefings, and speaking opportunities for executives.

  • Develop compelling, data-driven storytelling content that communicates the firm’s strategic initiatives and value proposition.

  • Partner with agency teams in the U.S. and London to oversee global PR campaigns and ensure message consistency.

Risk & Reputation Management

  • Provide expert guidance on communications strategies to mitigate reputational risk.

  • Monitor and analyze media coverage, identifying areas for opportunity or improvement.

  • Coordinate rapid responses to time-sensitive media inquiries, ensuring accuracy and alignment with corporate policies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing, communications, and social media teams to align PR campaigns with broader brand initiatives.

  • Track performance metrics, analyze campaign effectiveness, and report results to executive leadership.

🧩 Qualifications & Skills

12–15 years of progressive experience in public relations, media strategy, or corporate communications, preferably in financial services or a highly regulated industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related discipline (advanced degree preferred).
