The Role
We are seeking a driven and ambitious Business Development Executive to join the team and play a pivotal role in expanding new business opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong sales instincts and a genuine interest in the ServiceNow ecosystem to shape customer relationships from the ground up.
You will be responsible for initiating conversations with potential clients, understanding their business needs, and creating opportunities for the pre-sales and delivery teams to demonstrate the company’s ServiceNow capabilities. The role is suited to someone confident in building relationships, managing early-stage sales pipelines, and driving measurable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, engage, and qualify new business opportunities across the UK & Ireland.
Drive the initial stages of the sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to setting up discovery meetings and demos.
Work closely with pre-sales and solution architects to ensure customer needs are effectively captured and addressed.
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform and its business value.
Nurture long-term relationships with prospects and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities.
Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams to develop outreach campaigns and go-to-market strategies.
Accurately manage and report sales activity, forecasts, and KPIs through CRM tools.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in a sales or business development role within technology, SaaS, or IT services (ServiceNow experience highly desirable).
Strong ability to communicate technical and business value to senior stakeholders.
Confident in managing outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and opportunity generation.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work autonomously in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong working relationships internally and externally.
