Position Overview

A leading healthcare organization is seeking a highly analytical and consultative Senior Analyst, Workforce Analytics to transform complex workforce data into meaningful insights, recommendations and business decisions.

This is a hands-on analytics position. The successful candidate will partner with HR, Finance, Technology and operational leaders to understand the business problem behind each request, challenge assumptions, identify root causes and independently determine the most effective analytical solution.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct complex analyses across headcount, turnover, retention, recruitment, compensation, diversity, productivity and organizational data.

• Translate undefined workforce challenges into structured analytical plans.

• Identify trends, relationships, risks and opportunities within large datasets.

• Develop dashboards, reports, data visualizations and executive-ready presentations.

• Apply statistical techniques and predictive methods to workforce questions.

• Combine data from multiple systems and improve data quality, definitions and governance.

• Partner with HR, Finance, IT and business leaders to define metrics and interpret results.

• Explain what is happening, why it matters and what action should be considered.

• Present findings clearly to senior leaders and non-technical stakeholders.

• Support workforce planning, talent strategy and operational decision-making.

• Manage several analytical projects and priorities independently.

• Mentor colleagues and help improve analytics standards and practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in analytics, statistics, mathematics, economics, business, HR, computer science or a related discipline.

• Significant professional experience in workforce, people, HR or business analytics.

• Strong analytical, statistical and problem-solving capability.

• Experience working with large, complex and imperfect datasets.

• Advanced Excel skills and experience with SQL, data visualization and reporting tools.

• Ability to create clear business narratives from analytical findings.

• Strong consulting, stakeholder-management and presentation skills.

• Ability to work independently in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.

• Residence in Georgia, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Tennessee or Texas.

• Current authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare-industry experience.

• Experience with Tableau, Power BI or comparable visualization platforms.

• Knowledge of HRIS, workforce-planning or talent-management data.

• Experience with predictive analytics, statistical programming or data modeling.

• Graduate degree in a quantitative or business discipline.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or equivalent experience required.

Licenses/Certifications:

Experience / Knowledge / Skills:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in analytics and information systems, including at least three (3) years in a leadership role.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.

  • Administer and oversee the onboarding of data into the Enterprise Data Warehouse Platform, as well as third-party data submissions.

  • Support the growth of analytics capabilities across the organization by promoting transparency and usage of existing tools and products.

  • Mentor and train analytics user groups in tools such as Tableau, Business Objects, and SQL.

  • Encourage adoption of data-driven decision-making through existing analytical products.
