Position Overview

A leading healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Lead Data Scientist to lead high-priority analytical projects and solve complex organizational challenges using advanced statistical analysis, machine learning, predictive modeling and data visualization.

This is a hands-on technical leadership position. The successful candidate will remain actively involved in data exploration, model development, testing and interpretation while guiding projects, partnering with internal customers and mentoring other data scientists.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead analysis of complex structured and unstructured datasets.

• Develop, test, validate and maintain machine-learning and predictive models.

• Apply regression, time-series forecasting, classification, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, A/B testing and hypothesis testing.

• Evaluate model accuracy, stability, interpretability and fitness for purpose.

• Document methodologies, assumptions, limitations and validation results.

• Research and resolve data-quality problems across incomplete or inconsistent sources.

• Build repeatable analytical processes and production-ready solutions.

• Translate complex findings into clear recommendations for technical teams, business leaders and executives.

• Lead projects from discovery through modeling, implementation and measurement.

• Mentor data scientists and raise technical standards across the team.

• Partner with engineering, analytics, clinical and operational stakeholders.

• Support responsible and practical use of advanced analytics within healthcare.

Required Qualifications

• Advanced degree or equivalent experience in data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, economics or a related quantitative discipline.

• Extensive professional data-science and advanced-analytics experience.

• Expert knowledge of statistical analysis, machine learning and predictive modeling.

• Strong programming experience using Python, R, SQL or comparable tools.

• Experience working with large, complex datasets and resolving data-quality issues.

• Ability to explain sophisticated concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.

• Strong project leadership, consulting and stakeholder-management skills.

• Ability to remain hands-on while leading technical delivery.

• Residence in Georgia, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Tennessee or Texas.

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare or health-technology experience.

• Experience deploying and monitoring models in production environments.

• Cloud analytics, distributed-computing or big-data experience.

• Experience mentoring technical professionals and leading cross-functional projects.

Position Overview

A leading healthcare organization is seeking a highly analytical and consultative Senior Analyst, Workforce Analytics to transform complex workforce data into meaningful insights, recommendations and business decisions.

This is a hands-on analytics position. The successful candidate will partner with HR, Finance, Technology and operational leaders to understand the business problem behind each request, challenge assumptions, identify root causes and independently determine the most effective analytical solution.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct complex analyses across headcount, turnover, retention, recruitment, compensation, diversity, productivity and organizational data.

• Translate undefined workforce challenges into structured analytical plans.

• Identify trends, relationships, risks and opportunities within large datasets.

• Develop dashboards, reports, data visualizations and executive-ready presentations.

• Apply statistical techniques and predictive methods to workforce questions.

• Combine data from multiple systems and improve data quality, definitions and governance.

• Partner with HR, Finance, IT and business leaders to define metrics and interpret results.

• Explain what is happening, why it matters and what action should be considered.

• Present findings clearly to senior leaders and non-technical stakeholders.

• Support workforce planning, talent strategy and operational decision-making.

• Manage several analytical projects and priorities independently.

• Mentor colleagues and help improve analytics standards and practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in analytics, statistics, mathematics, economics, business, HR, computer science or a related discipline.

• Significant professional experience in workforce, people, HR or business analytics.

• Strong analytical, statistical and problem-solving capability.

• Experience working with large, complex and imperfect datasets.

• Advanced Excel skills and experience with SQL, data visualization and reporting tools.

• Ability to create clear business narratives from analytical findings.

• Strong consulting, stakeholder-management and presentation skills.

• Ability to work independently in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.

• Residence in Georgia, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Tennessee or Texas.

• Current authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare-industry experience.

• Experience with Tableau, Power BI or comparable visualization platforms.

• Knowledge of HRIS, workforce-planning or talent-management data.

• Experience with predictive analytics, statistical programming or data modeling.
