Position Overview

A growing enterprise software organization is seeking two experienced Group Product Managers to lead product strategy across its Governance, Risk and Compliance and Risk Management Information System solutions.

This is a senior player/coach role requiring deep GRC or RMIS domain expertise, strong commercial awareness and the ability to convert customer and market insight into a clear product vision, roadmap and value proposition.

Candidates do not necessarily need to have followed a traditional Product Manager career path. Relevant backgrounds may include Product Ownership, Product Marketing, Services Product Management, solution implementation leadership or another product-informed role. What matters is the ability to think strategically and successfully take a vision through execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and oversee a cohesive product strategy and prioritized roadmap across a suite of GRC and RMIS products or modules.

• Translate commercial objectives, market dynamics, buyer needs and competitive intelligence into clear product priorities.

• Lead, mentor and support Product Managers and Product Analysts while promoting collaboration and continuous improvement.

• Engage directly with customers to understand pain points, validate assumptions and identify problems worth solving.

• Research competitors, adjacent solutions, pricing strategies and emerging market and technology trends.

• Use product KPIs, business metrics, data and experimentation to evaluate priorities and measure customer and commercial outcomes.

• Partner with Engineering, Design, Architecture, Marketing and business stakeholders throughout the software-development lifecycle.

• Coordinate with other Product Managers and leaders to maintain complementary, non-conflicting roadmaps.

• Support successful product launches, adoption and post-release evaluation.

• Contribute to team-member development, performance reviews and career planning.

AI-Enabled Product Leadership

The Group Product Manager will establish responsible expectations for how the team uses AI throughout the product-development lifecycle, including:

• Accelerating customer, market and competitive research.

• Supporting synthesis, summarization and trend analysis.

• Improving product requirements, PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria and release communications.

• Enabling rapid prototyping and experimentation.

• Strengthening data-driven prioritization and post-release evaluation.

• Ensuring all AI-supported work maintains appropriate human judgement, accuracy, security, privacy and customer trust.

Practical AI experience is beneficial, but intellectual curiosity and a willingness to explore responsible applications of AI are more important.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Science, Liberal Arts or a related discipline.

• At least eight years of experience within the GRC or RMIS market.

• Experience in a product, product-adjacent or product-informed role, such as Product Manager, Product Owner, Services Product Manager, Product Marketing, GRC or RMIS implementation leadership, or solution/domain leadership closely involved in product strategy.

• Strong understanding of GRC or RMIS customers, buyers, workflows and market dynamics.

• Demonstrated strategic thinking around competitive positioning, technology trends and commercial opportunity.

• Proven success taking a product or solution vision through execution.

• Ability to convert domain expertise into a clear product strategy, prioritized roadmap and compelling value proposition.

• Understanding of software-development lifecycle processes and technologies.

• Strong analytical, strategic-thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written, verbal and stakeholder-communication capabilities.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-moving environment.

• Current authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct Product Management experience within a GRC or RMIS software organization.

• Experience owning a strategic product roadmap.

• Experience managing or mentoring Product Managers and Product Analysts.

• Experience using AI within product research, discovery, prototyping, delivery or analysis.

• Strong familiarity with SaaS product metrics, pricing and competitive analysis.

• Experience presenting product strategy to executives, customers and external stakeholders.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate combines deep GRC or RMIS expertise with credible product leadership. They understand the market, the buyers and the problems customers need solved, and can turn that insight into a clear strategy, roadmap and value proposition while guiding a high-performing product team.
