🧭 Key Responsibilities

Controls & Automation Engineering

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation and instrumentation systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.

  • Provide day-to-day engineering support to optimize control system performance and plant uptime.

  • Apply working knowledge of DeltaV DCS and other process automation platforms to manage plant operations.

  • Troubleshoot automation issues, implement system upgrades, and support commissioning activities.

Process Optimization & Project Support

  • Support capital project execution, ensuring adherence to instrumentation and automation standards.

  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and process teams to identify improvement opportunities.

  • Use data from the PI Historian and other tools to track KPIs, assess system health, and recommend actionable improvements.

  • Contribute to the standardization and governance of control systems across the organization.

Collaboration & On-Call Rotation

  • Work cross-functionally with engineers, technicians, and leadership teams to deliver technical solutions.

  • Participate in an on-call rotation (every three weeks for remote after-hours support).

  • Maintain compliance with operational, safety, and environmental standards.

🎓 Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

✅ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation, Controls, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
✅ Minimum of 2 years of relevant engineering experience in automation, controls, or process engineering.
✅ Strong foundation in controls engineering principles and instrumentation systems.

Preferred Skills

⭐ Experience with DeltaV DCS systems and control programming.
⭐ Working knowledge of industrial automation technologies and process instrumentation.
⭐ Intermediate project management and problem-solving skills.
⭐ Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
⭐ Strong analytical, mathematical, and technical skills.
