🧭 Key Responsibilities
Controls & Automation Engineering
Design, develop, and maintain automation and instrumentation systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
Provide day-to-day engineering support to optimize control system performance and plant uptime.
Apply working knowledge of DeltaV DCS and other process automation platforms to manage plant operations.
Troubleshoot automation issues, implement system upgrades, and support commissioning activities.
Process Optimization & Project Support
Support capital project execution, ensuring adherence to instrumentation and automation standards.
Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and process teams to identify improvement opportunities.
Use data from the PI Historian and other tools to track KPIs, assess system health, and recommend actionable improvements.
Contribute to the standardization and governance of control systems across the organization.
Collaboration & On-Call Rotation
Work cross-functionally with engineers, technicians, and leadership teams to deliver technical solutions.
Participate in an on-call rotation (every three weeks for remote after-hours support).
Maintain compliance with operational, safety, and environmental standards.
🎓 Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation, Controls, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
✅ Minimum of 2 years of relevant engineering experience in automation, controls, or process engineering.
✅ Strong foundation in controls engineering principles and instrumentation systems.
Preferred Skills
⭐ Experience with DeltaV DCS systems and control programming.
⭐ Working knowledge of industrial automation technologies and process instrumentation.
⭐ Intermediate project management and problem-solving skills.
⭐ Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
