What You Bring

  • Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT)

  • Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy program

  • Active or pending Physical Therapy license in New York State

  • Experience or strong interest in working with athletes

  • 1–2+ years of outpatient experience preferred, but not required

Location: Henderson, NC (In-person)
Salary: $70,000 – $93,000 USD per year
Signing Bonus: Negotiable

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Therapist to join a growing healthcare team in Henderson, North Carolina. This role focuses on delivering high-quality care across outpatient, inpatient rehab, and acute care settings. You'll collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes while working in a supportive and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including evaluations, treatments, and discharge planning in an outpatient rehab setting.

  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.

  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation to reflect medical necessity and patient progress.

  • Support acute care and inpatient rehabilitation units as needed.

  • Assist with insurance prior authorizations and related administrative tasks.

  • Actively participate in department meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and compliance activities.

  • Coordinate weekend, holiday, and vacation schedules with team leadership.

  • Work alongside a team of therapists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.

  • Current North Carolina Physical Therapist License.

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

  • Experience with outpatient care across various diagnoses; acute and inpatient rehab experience preferred.

  • Strong communication, time management, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT).

  • Additional experience in acute care settings.
