Location: Henderson, NC (In-person)
Salary: $70,000 – $93,000 USD per year
Signing Bonus: Negotiable
Relocation Assistance: Partial stipend available for eligible candidates
About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Therapist to join a growing healthcare team in Henderson, North Carolina. This role focuses on delivering high-quality care across outpatient, inpatient rehab, and acute care settings. You'll collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes while working in a supportive and engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care, including evaluations, treatments, and discharge planning in an outpatient rehab setting.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
Maintain timely and accurate documentation to reflect medical necessity and patient progress.
Support acute care and inpatient rehabilitation units as needed.
Assist with insurance prior authorizations and related administrative tasks.
Actively participate in department meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and compliance activities.
Coordinate weekend, holiday, and vacation schedules with team leadership.
Work alongside a team of therapists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
Current North Carolina Physical Therapist License.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Experience with outpatient care across various diagnoses; acute and inpatient rehab experience preferred.
Strong communication, time management, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification as a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT).
Additional experience in acute care settings.
