An exciting opportunity has opened for a Senior Business Systems Analyst (JDE) to join a forward-thinking organization that’s transforming its technology landscape in the distribution and food services industry.
In this role, you’ll bridge business and IT by designing and implementing solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and productivity. You’ll collaborate with business leaders, translate requirements into system enhancements, and work hands-on configuring, testing, and delivering solutions across JD Edwards ERP and related systems such as JDA/Blue Yonder WMS.
This position offers the chance to take ownership of key business processes, contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives, and work in a hybrid setup that supports both flexibility and collaboration.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
🔍 Business Requirements
Gather and prioritize business requirements using a structured methodology.
Interview stakeholders to define processes and data flows.
Develop detailed documentation, including business cases and functional specifications.
Support business justification and cost-sizing for enhancement requests.
⚙️ Solution Design
Identify, assess, and recommend technical and business solutions.
Design logical, innovative system improvements that enhance user experience.
Collaborate with architecture and development teams to ensure technical compatibility.
Present design proposals and guide users through implementation.
🧪 Testing & Implementation
Develop and manage testing schedules and user acceptance plans.
Create business and application use cases.
Conduct comprehensive system testing to ensure high-quality delivery.
📘 User Training & Support
Develop user training materials and provide hands-on training for new features.
Offer post-deployment support to ensure smooth adoption and operational stability.
🤝 Team Collaboration & Leadership
Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing best practices and technical knowledge.
Help refine internal processes and standards for improved efficiency.
Coordinate cross-functional resources for timely project execution.
✅ Qualifications
Education: Associate degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.
Experience: 8+ years of systems design and testing experience with some leadership exposure.
Proven experience in core distribution business processes, including:
Sales to Cash
Procure to Pay
Accounting (AP/AR)
Warehouse Management
Strong ability to interpret and translate client business needs into technical requirements.
Hands-on experience configuring and testing with users.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
