Senior Tax Analyst (Federal Tax)

A fantastic opportunity for a driven Senior Tax Analyst to join a high-performing corporate tax team within a globally recognised organisation in the aerospace and transportation sector. This role offers strong exposure to federal, state, and international tax, along with involvement in strategic tax initiatives and high-impact projects.
π§ Key Responsibilities
πΉ Prepare and support the domestic portions of consolidated US federal income tax returns
πΉ Review tax packages and manage data flows into tax filings
πΉ Assist with quarterly taxable income calculations for cash tax payments and reporting
πΉ Support federal tax accounting and compliance processes
πΉ Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and other regulatory requirements
πΉ Analyse financial and tax data to support business decision-making
πΉ Contribute to special projects including:
βββ« Internal restructurings and M&A activities
βββ« Gain/loss calculations and tax basis analysis

Required Skills & Experience
πΉ 2+ years of experience in federal tax preparation and/or review
πΉ Experience with income tax accounting
πΉ Bachelorβs degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
πΉ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
πΉ Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
β Preferred Experience
πΉ Exposure to state and international tax compliance/provision
πΉ Background in corporate tax or within a large multinational or accounting firm
πΉ CPA qualification or Masterβs in Tax (or working towards)
πΉ Strong proficiency in Microsoft tools and tax software (e.g., Corptax)
πΉ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
πΉ Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to see the bigger picture
