We are seeking a high-energy, relationship-driven Business Development Manager to serve as the public face of a fast-growing consulting organization across conferences, panels, and industry events.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on in-person networking, hosting events, building strategic relationships, and converting conversations into real business opportunities. You will represent the organization nationally, drive pipeline growth through event-led engagement, and develop referral partnerships that consistently generate qualified inbound opportunities.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

Conference & Event Representation

  • Represent the brand at major industry conferences and events

  • Build meaningful relationships with business owners, partners, and industry peers

  • Participate in panels and host side events (breakfasts, meetups, networking sessions)

Business Development & Relationship Building

  • Establish trust and credibility through high-touch engagement

  • Identify and nurture opportunities arising from event interactions

  • Position yourself as a trusted advisor in the space

Pipeline Growth & Handoff

  • Ensure warm leads move seamlessly into the sales pipeline

  • Track and report on ROI from events and engagements

  • Partner with internal sales teams to support conversion and closing

Side Event Strategy & Execution

  • Design and execute impactful side events that enhance brand presence

  • Manage logistics, communications, and follow-up for maximum engagement

Partnerships & Referral Development

  • Identify and build strategic partnerships with key vendors and industry stakeholders

  • Create structured referral pathways that generate consistent inbound opportunities

  • Maintain strong long-term partner relationships
