Working onsite in Winchester, you will support Ribbon Federal Edge gateways, Session Border Controllers and E-911 connectivity across federal voice and Public Safety Answering Point environments.
Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and resolve E-911 and NG911 call-flow issues using packet captures, signalling traces and detailed technical investigation.
• Track engineering issues, assess technical risks and provide clear recommendations and mitigation strategies.
• Perform deployment-readiness reviews and support validation of gateway performance, resilience and interoperability.
• Coordinate with technical stakeholders to resolve issues affecting emergency-call routing, voice connectivity and service performance.
• Document technical findings, deployment status, risks and recommended actions for engineering and programme teams.
Required Experience
• At least 10 years of telecommunications engineering experience, including five or more years in VoIP and SIP engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Ribbon Communications, Sonus or Genband platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Session Border Controllers, SIP signalling, interconnection engineering and policy routing.
• Practical E-911 or NG911 call-routing and PSAP integration experience.
• Advanced Wireshark skills for SIP, RTP and network troubleshooting.
• Active U.S. Secret security clearance.

You are a senior telecommunications engineer with deep SIP and VoIP expertise and a strong understanding of emergency-call routing in secure federal environments. You can move confidently between gateway configuration, packet-level troubleshooting, deployment validation and stakeholder coordination, while communicating technical risks and practical solutions clearly.
Application
Please submit an up-to-date resume outlining your Ribbon, Sonus or Genband experience, SIP and VoIP engineering background, E-911 or PSAP integration work, Wireshark expertise, current location and active Secret clearance status.
