🔧 What You’ll Do
🏭 Operational Leadership
Lead daily production activities across a high-performance plastics manufacturing environment.
Drive excellence in safety, quality, on-time delivery, cost, and productivity.
Implement lean manufacturing practices including 5S, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
Partner with the Plant Manager to develop strategies that meet business goals and customer commitments.
👥 Team Development & Engagement
Inspire, coach, and develop a diverse team of supervisors and operators.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Lead training and team-building initiatives to enhance skills and performance.
Support employee relations in collaboration with HR to build a positive, inclusive workplace.
📊 Process Optimization
Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Collaborate cross-functionally to improve equipment reliability and production flow.
Manage plant metrics and report results to leadership, using data-driven insights to drive decisions.
Support capital projects and process upgrades to advance plant capabilities.
💰 Financial & Strategic Performance
Assist with budget development and ensure operations meet productivity and cost targets.
Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and all regulatory standards.
Develop workflow policies that balance safety, efficiency, and quality.
✅ What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree or higher (Engineering or Plastics preferred).
3–5 years of manufacturing experience, ideally in plastics, injection molding, or extrusion.
Proven success in leadership roles within a production environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting, analysis, and presentations.
Strong communication and public speaking skills — comfortable leading teams and training sessions.
