Overview
An industry-leading manufacturer of commercial building products is seeking a Sales Territory Manager to drive growth across the Tampa, Sarasota, and Naples markets. This role is focused on business development, specification sales, and relationship management with architects, interior designers, contractors, facility managers, and end users.
The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding market share, developing new business opportunities, and becoming a trusted product expert within the commercial construction and design community.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute territory sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
Manage and grow existing customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities.
Promote products directly to architects, interior designers, contractors, facility managers, and end users.
Drive product specifications into commercial construction projects.
Conduct presentations, product demonstrations, and customer meetings.
Maintain a minimum of five customer appointments per day.
Travel throughout the territory approximately four days per week.
Attend trade shows, industry events, and conferences as needed.
Maintain accurate pipeline and account activity through CRM tools.
Required Qualifications
Bachelorβs Degree required.
5+ years of outside sales experience.
Experience selling into the commercial construction or building products industry.
Strong business development and relationship management skills.
Excellent presentation and public speaking abilities.
Must reside in the Tampa or Sarasota area.
Preferred Experience
Commercial building products specification sales.
Calling on architects, interior designers, and commercial contractors.
Architectural products, interior finishes, wall protection, or construction materials.
Bilingual English/Spanish.
