About the Role
Are you an experienced hospital case management leader looking to drive strategic initiatives across multiple hospital sites? We are seeking a Group Director of Case Management to oversee utilization management, care transitions, and operational efficiencies across multiple facilities.
This role requires a strong leader, mentor, and consultant who can implement case management best practices, improve patient throughput, and ensure regulatory compliance while optimizing revenue cycle processes.
What You’ll Do
✅ Strategic Leadership – Execute case management strategies across multiple hospitals, aligning with Tenet’s national standards.
✅ Optimize Utilization Management – Lead efforts to improve level of care, length of stay, and payer authorizations.
✅ Support & Develop Hospital Directors – Guide Directors of Case Management, assist in hiring, onboarding, and ongoing development.
✅ Enhance Patient Throughput – Ensure efficient patient transitions and compliance with CMS regulations.
✅ Monitor & Improve KPIs – Utilize the Case Management Scorecard to drive hospital utilization performance and reduce denials.
✅ Physician Engagement – Provide education and feedback to medical staff on hospital utilization and revenue cycle processes.
✅ Regulatory Compliance – Ensure adherence to state, federal, and accreditation standards while implementing best practices.
✅ Oversee Post-Acute Networks – Manage relationships with post-acute care providers to ensure smooth transitions.
What You Bring
✔ Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LMSW) – Active license required in the state(s) covered.
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Business, or Healthcare Administration (Master’s preferred).
âś” 5+ years of acute hospital case management or healthcare leadership experience.
âś” Multi-site hospital case management leadership experience preferred.
âś” Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
âś” Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to engage all levels of hospital leadership.
âś” Business planning and project management experience preferred.
