Job Title: Business Development Manager
Level: Mid-Level
Reports To: Sector Manager
Vacancies: 1
Travel Required: Up to 60%
Location: Baltimore, MD 21201, United States (Servicing a general area)
Salary Range: $100,000 - $138,000 per year
OTE: $160,000 - $220,000 uncapped
Bonus Potential: Yes, uncapped quarterly bonuses
Relocation Package: None

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team in the Data Center Sector. This key role is responsible for driving business growth, generating leads, and managing accounts within a specified territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead generation and business development within the Data Center sector

  • Cold calling, account management, presentation development, and closing deals

  • Track all sales activities, including contacts, meetings, opportunities, proposals, and orders

  • Sell equipment rental and services to Data Center customers

  • Develop and execute an annual sales plan for your territory

  • Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure successful project execution

  • General understanding of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 7-10 years of direct B2B sales experience

  • Extensive knowledge of the Data Center industry

  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)

  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams (operations, fleet, logistics)

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

  • Ability to manage a full sales cycle in a structured corporate environment

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the building and construction services sector

  • Knowledge of power generation and rental services

  • Proven track record of managing large sales quotas and solution-based selling
