Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Supervisor to oversee daily operations, clinical quality, and team performance within a busy radiology department.
This is a hands-on leadership role, combining clinical responsibilities with team management, ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and efficient workflow across X-Ray services.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Operational Leadership
Oversee all technical and compliance aspects of X-Ray operations
Ensure safe, high-quality patient care and imaging procedures
Monitor workflow efficiency and optimize departmental processes
Team Management & Staffing
Support staff scheduling to align with patient volume and operational needs
Participate in the hiring and onboarding of new team members
Act as a coach and mentor to radiology staff, fostering collaboration and development
Patient Care & Quality Assurance
Ensure adherence to clinical standards and regulatory requirements
Maintain high standards of patient safety and care delivery
Support continuous improvement in imaging quality and service delivery
Hands-On Clinical Support
Perform duties as an X-Ray Technologist as needed
Lead by example in delivering excellent clinical care
On-Call Responsibilities
Participate in a rotating weekend on-call schedule
Hours: 8:00 AM β 12:00 PM (Saturday & Sunday rotation)
Required Qualifications
Associateβs degree (or equivalent) from an approved Radiologic Technology program
3+ years of X-Ray experience
2+ years of leadership experience (Lead Tech or Supervisor level)
Active certification and licensure (required)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Experience
Participation in ACR accreditation processes
Experience in hospital or high-volume clinical settings
