Account Executive – SMB Team Sales

Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Field-Based with Flexible WFH Days)

Overview

Join a high-energy, growth-focused sales team in a field-based role that empowers you to make a direct impact. As an Account Executive, you’ll help grow market presence and win new business through strategic prospecting, networking, and solution-based selling. This role starts under sales manager guidance and offers the potential to own your own territory long term.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate leads and referrals via prospecting, cold calling, and networking (30%)

  • Identify customer needs and present tailored solutions using a solution-based selling approach (20%)

  • Recommend products, plans, data services, and accessories based on business needs

  • Close deals, negotiate terms, and build long-term business relationships (10%)

  • Participate in regular training, coaching, and performance development (10%)

  • Utilize sales tools (CRM, funnel management) and provide reporting/forecasting (10%)

  • Contribute to special projects or additional duties as needed (10%)

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of B2B sales experience (within the last 2 years preferred)

  • Demonstrated success in outside sales, cold calling, and prospecting

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills

  • Proven ability to work independently while being a strong team player

  • Motivated, self-starter with a commission-driven mindset

  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
