Based in Orlando, this role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership in project execution, supporting multiple state-of-the-art facilities across the Eastern U.S.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead large and small-scale engineering projects, overseeing all aspects from concept to completion.

  • Act as the central point of contact for capital project execution, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to budget.

  • Evaluate and implement advanced technologies in manufacturing processes; coordinate vendor engagement and equipment selection.

  • Collaborate closely with Plant Engineers, Managers, and Maintenance Teams to optimize equipment reliability, safety, and performance.

  • Contribute to maintenance excellence programs and support root-cause analysis and troubleshooting of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and automated systems.

  • Mentor maintenance teams and help assess and close technical skill gaps.

  • Provide ongoing technical support and occasionally assist in day-to-day plant engineering operations.

What You Bring to the Table:

Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Plastics preferred)

  • Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing environment, ideally within the plastics industry

  • Hands-on experience with injection molding and/or profile extrusion

  • Deep understanding of systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, PLCs, and automation

  • Proven track record of leading capital projects and managing multiple priorities

  • Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, project management tools)

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Familiarity with adhesives and sealants production

  • Experience in multi-site engineering support roles

  • Background in maintenance planning or reliability engineering

About the Role:

We’re seeking a results-driven Process Engineer III to lead critical process improvements, optimize manufacturing controls, and manage capital projects in a fast-paced, technically advanced production environment. This individual will have a strong plastics and injection molding background and be instrumental in driving efficiencies and quality improvements at our Winchester, KY or Orlando, FL facilities.

You’ll be a key technical partner for operations leadership, engineering teams, and maintenance, helping shape how we innovate and scale sustainably.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and execution of manufacturing control strategies to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput.

  • Drive capital project development: from writing CARs (Capital Authorization Requests) to project management through execution.

  • Apply Six Sigma, Lean, and TQM tools to analyze and enhance production processes, reduce scrap, and improve product quality.

  • Conduct in-depth process audits, develop corrective action plans, and lead implementation.

  • Provide technical support to production and maintenance teams across both sites.

  • Act as a technical trainer and mentor for line operators and technicians on new processes and standards.

Qualifications:

Must-Have Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent industry experience).

  • Plastics industry experience is required.

  • Injection molding experience is essential.

  • Proven success managing and executing capital projects.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with a variety of production equipment.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience in extrusion systems and associated equipment.

  • Demonstrated ability to implement new processes and train personnel.

  • Experience in continuous improvement, Six Sigma Green Belt or similar certifications.

Compensation & Benefits:
