About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Psychologist to join a healthcare team within a secure institutional setting. In this role, you will play a vital part in assessing, treating, and supporting individuals, while collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals to ensure effective and integrated care.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct psychological screenings and assessments, including record reviews and clinical interviews.
Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and level of functioning.
Provide direct therapeutic interventions and crisis counseling to patients in need.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare staff to ensure coordinated treatment.
Make regular rounds in confined housing or segregation areas to assess adjustment and treatment needs.
Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress according to professional and regulatory standards.
Apply evidence-based psychological counseling theories and techniques in daily practice.
Requirements
✅ Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution.
✅ Current, unrestricted license to practice psychology in the state of Arizona (or eligibility to obtain).
✅ Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, including at least 1 year in a comparable role.
✅ Valid Driver’s License.
