Project Overview:
Our client’s software engineers develop the next-gen in Proactive Vendor Security Assessment Services. Our Cloud products provide easy and intuitive user experiences for 1) companies to assess the security risk of their vendors and 2) vendors to build and provide their security profiles.
As a Senior Engineer 3 on the clients Development Team, you will be responsible for developing vertical slices of functionality across all phases of the product development cycle. You’ll also have the opportunity to shape and execute exciting projects. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities, and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward.
Responsibilities:
• Develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.
• Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
• Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
• Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
• Improves operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures.
• Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Protects operations by keeping information confidential.
• Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.
• Accomplishes engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
• Supports and develops software engineers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities.
Must haves:
• Tech startup experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Java software development (5 years)
• Spring or Spring Boot frameworks (3 years)
• Unit testing framework (JUnit, TestNG, et.al.)
• Microservices development experience (2 years)
• REST architecture
• Angular 2+ and/or Node.js with Typescript (2 years)
• Cloud development (AWS ecosystem preferred) (2 years)
• Familiarity with agile development processes
Nice to haves:
• AWS ecosystem preferred
Expected length of the engagement:
• 12 months (Extension)
Location/Overlap requirements:
• Fully Remote – Latin America (LATAM) - Talents must be from Latam Required overlap: 5hrs with US Mountain time zone (UTC-6).
Client Budget: $4000 - $6000 per month
