Job Description

The Manager of the Behavioral Health (BH) Transfer Center leads the team towards enhanced operational performance, timeliness of service and always ensures sound clinical judgement of the staff. The Manager is responsible for the team’s execution daily, providing coaching and mentoring to staff as well as timely decision-making regarding service adjustments and changes that need to be made. The Manager is a relationship builder that earns the confidence of their employees, referring and accepting facilities, physicians, and personnel, around all patients transfer related activities. They are the Subject Matter Expert for all things related to the BH Transfer Center.

 

Requirements

·        Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Bachelor’s Degree required.

·        Three to five years of related clinical experience in Behavioral Health/ Emergency Department overseeing BH services/Free standing psychiatric hospital

·        Three years’ experience leading telephonic clinical programs at scale, effectively managing to service levels.

·        Current Compact (Multistate) licensure as a Registered Nurse

This role is responsible for managing all operational functions at a branch. This is a Branch Manager role .

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Direct oversight of dispatcher/routers, service technicians, pick up & delivery drivers, yard personnel, fence crew(s) and shop. 

  • Review of all paperwork including manifests, routing tickets, DVIR's, etc. for completion and accuracy.

  • Monitor all service levels and deliveries to ensure the best efficiencies. 

  • Recommend measures to improve operational practices and quality of customer care.

  • Work directly with other departments to ensure excellent/positive communication within region. 

  • Work with various departments to resolve customer service & delivery issues. 

  • Work with Operations Managers at other branches to coordinate asset transfers.

  • Maintain proper staffing levels to meet and exceed customer and branch needs.

  • Analyze and report on operational activities, i.e., service levels, routing efficiency, labor & overtime, fuel, etc.

  • Work with the Regional Vice President to develop and implement standard practices, efficiency recommendations, etc.

  • Responsible for fleet DOT administration including, log books & record maintenance, etc.

  • Review and approve e-time punches prior to submitting for payroll processing. 

  • Review and approve time off request forms and schedule time off based on operational necessity.

  • Responsible for the administration of the company's safety program at the branch. 

  • Works with Safety & HR departments to safety coordinate training, where necessary.

  • Responsible for employee development & conducting periodic performance reviews.

  • Create and maintain a positive, safe and effective work environment.

  • Drive/operate variety of company vehicles.

  • Pull trailers with company vehicles.

  • Special/other projects as assigned by management.

Job Description

·        Accomplished background in customer service leadership highly preferred

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:  Bachelor's Degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field preferred. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of three (3) years supervisory/management experience in healthcare, distribution center, or call center required.

 

Experience / Knowledge / Skills:

What you’ll do:

·        Managing the development of existing and new standalone storage and solar plus storage projects including site control (ground and /or rooftop), permitting & community relations

·        Provide technical evaluation and design for renewable energy transactions

·        Coordinate with internal and external resources to achieve land acquisition, permitting, interconnection, and other project development milestones, with accountability for budget and schedule
