Job Description

We are seeking a Speech Therapist to provide Speech Therapy services for our Rehabilitation Services Department in accordance with the American Speech Language Hearing Association Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice, State of West Virginia law, and hospital policy. The main responsibilities include:

 

·        Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.

·        Designs and implements a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient and family.

·        Educates and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.

·        Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services.

·        Supervises activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

·        Graduate of an approved school of Speech Therapy.

·        Must have, or be eligible for, West Virginia State Licensure or Registration.

·        Registration must be obtained within one (1) year, or as per state law.

General Surgery and GYN Surgery are performed utilizing a recently added DaVinci X robot. LRMC has a full range of diagnostic imaging, including 3D Mammography, Fluoroscopy, MRI, PET, two 64-slice CT’s, Nuclear Medicine, Bone Densitometry, and Ultrasound.
