Scrum Master, London
£45,000 - £55,000

The Role

You are a servant leader. You optimise agile delivery in your sleep. You have experience as a project manager, scrum master, agile coach or a delivery manager. You care about the team far more than your job title. You know that a happy team is one with a sense of purpose, mastery and autonomy. You recognise that a successful company is one that delivers value predictably and often. You know there’s no silver bullet and no master framework. You’ve taken scrum and kanban around the block pushing them beyond their prescriptive limits and figured out how to tune agile methodologies to optimise the environment you’re working in.

We are an ambitious and talented team from a wide range of backgrounds. We leverage new technologies to help retailers drastically improve their profitability. We're developing powerful products that rely on huge data sets and smart analytics created by experienced engineers and data scientists.

We’re looking for someone who’s excited about implementing a development methodology from the ground up. Who can confidently design an agile project, selecting the best methodology for the job. Someone who can coach their colleagues in best-practice agile techniques. Who relishes discussion and recognises that different products require different approaches. Who recognises great delivery cannot be held back by dogma or ego.

You will work with our Head of Product to bring structure, predictability and accountability to our delivery process. As we scale you will ensure that no one is idle and everyone is comfortable. Day-to-day you’ll work with engineers and data scientists to unblock work and smash through milestones. You’ll make progress highly visible and ensure everyone communicates.

·         Experience managing technical projects with a strong track record of delivery.

·         Experience executing a range of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP etc.)

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills
