Our client is an established US manufacturer of drinking water equipment looking for a Field Service Technician to deliver world-class technical support to our customers throughout Europe. As a valuable installation and maintenance technician, you will work closely with our European Sales Manager and travel as needed to support our growing network of customers, currently in 17 countries. You will also build and develop client relationships by providing technical solutions through phone calls and on-site visits.
Installation and Service Technician Job Duties:
Serve existing accounts by processing and fullfilling work orders; investigating complaints; conducting tests; resolving problems.
Collaborate with the US technical team and share information across the organization to build positive relationships with clients and coworkers.
Manage maintenance, repairs and testing tasks to ensure proper documentation of all related processes.
Keep equipment and work space clean and organized.
Conduct Customer Technical training via on-site, visits, or webinars.
Prior experience with testing, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing appliances and/or business machines.
Technical degree or certification preferred.
Ability to adapt to dynamic work schedules and flexible shifts; some travel required.
Excellent customer service, communication (oral and written) and self-management skills.
Multi-Lingual preferred – English fluency required.
